Following the project described in Grokking the GIMP. This image uses :

  1. Bucket Fill using patterns
  2. Gaussian Blur (IIR)
  3. Gradient – Shapeburst (angular) fill
  4. Bump Map Filter
  5. Layer Levels, offsets and Alpha Selections
