WordPress Media Player

Here’s another gem I found while working on my PMWiki. A media player for WordPress, an implementation of the JEROEN WIJERING Media Player. It allows you to include multi-media in your blog. The plugin is located in https://www.mac-dev.net/

Just add it on the wp-content\plugin directory, activate and include the media in your blog using the markup convention discussed in the plugin site. There is a current limitation though of being able to play flash files that are relative only to the WordPress installation directory. External flash files is not directly playable. However, I found a work-around by adding the external file inside a playlist.

Here’s an FLV file about Charice Pempengco appearing in the Ellen Degeneres show. The actual FLV file does not reside in my server but rather with Warner Bros. So the media in this blog will remain only for as long as Warner Bros. makes the media available on the net.
