This walk started and finished at the Stanwell Park Beach Reserve. This is how Charles, the walk leader described it:
This is a 6.5 km circuit walk in the scenic amphitheatre of the Stanwell Creek Valley. We’ll start the walk at Stanwell Park Beach where there are parking and other facilities available. We’ll walk through the town and then enter the walking area just a few hundred metres down the road. The track then leads uphill into open forest and slowly descends through palm studded rainforest towards Stanwell Park Creek which we’ll cross and then make our way uphill and along a rough track towards Stanwell Park Station, from there it’s an easy walk back to the beach. The track has a few strenuous sections but for the most part it is easy. Some great ocean views are possible on the early section.
